Lifespan comes down to exposure: garaged and hand-washed, vinyl can look sharp for years; parked outside in constant sun and extreme weather, expect closer to 1–2 years before the edges and finish start showing it. That’s exactly why we don’t wrap everything: the pieces that take the most abuse — grille, badges, handles, mirror caps — get paint, a permanent finish. Vinyl goes only on trim that can’t come off cleanly, and it’s removable anytime without damaging your paint.

It doesn’t cover rock chips or damage from misuse or improper washing — those aren’t adhesion failures; paint protection film is the armor for those. Give painted parts 3–5 days to cure, then stick to hand washes or touchless car washes — brush washes can catch vinyl edges. For painted front-end pieces we recommend paint protection film to stop rock chips — paint plus PPF is built to last the life of the vehicle. Rock chips and wash damage aren’t covered by the warranty; failure to adhere is.
