Why ColorWerks
The Parts & Trim Painting Specialists
Most of what we paint fits on a bench: badges and emblems, grills, mirror housings, interior and exterior trim, center caps, and hood vents — plus bumpers, fenders, spoilers, side skirts, and other removable panels. Gloss and satin black black-outs make up over half our paint work, with 90+ black-out parts shot this year alone. Bring your factory paint code and we’ll match it; bring an idea and we’ll mix it.

Whole car? Yeah… no.
We paint parts off the car and repaint scratched panels. A full respray is the one thing we don’t do — it’s on this page five times. We counted. Pick a part and we’re all in.
Common Questions
Auto Painting FAQ
No. We don’t do full-body repaints, color changes, or restorations — our booth is built for parts, not whole cars. We paint bumpers, fenders, hoods, spoilers, mirrors, badges, and trim off the car, and we repaint and blend individual panels to fix scratches or minor damage on newer vehicles.
Yes. Deep scratches, key marks, scuffs, and minor damage on a newer car can be repainted panel by panel and blended into the surrounding paint so the repair disappears. Send photos with your quote request and we’ll price it from there. It’s a repair service, not a full respray — if the whole car needs paint, we’re not the right shop.
Yes — badges, emblems, and lettering are our single most common paint job. Most owners go gloss or satin black to match a chrome delete, but we can match any factory or custom color. Badges ride along with whatever else is in the booth, so they’re usually ready in 2–3 business days.
Yes — grills, window trim, mirror caps, and roof rails in gloss or satin black are what we do most. Painted black-outs hold up better than vinyl on parts that take rock chips and heat, like grills. If the part stays on the car, look at our chrome delete service instead.
Yes. We use your vehicle’s OEM paint code to mix paint which is typically a 90% match.
Typical turnaround is 2–5 business days depending on the number of parts, prep work required, and number of coats. Auto painting is not a same-day service — proper prep, multiple coats, and curing take time for a factory-quality result.
We offer solid colors, metallic, candy, pearl, matte, satin, and custom finishes. Most customers want OEM color matching, but we also do full custom colors for a unique look.
Small parts like badges, mirror caps, and trim start at $200. A bumper repaint starts at $600 with the bumper brought in off the car; fenders, hoods, and spoilers are quoted from photos. If we remove and reinstall the part for you, labor is $150 per hour — usually about 2 hours on most vehicles (Land Rovers and a few others take longer). Send photos with your quote request and we’ll give you an exact number.
Yes — we paint off-car parts only. Remove your bumper, fender, spoiler, or panels before drop-off. If you need help with removal, your body shop or mechanic can handle it.
We use professional-grade automotive basecoat/clearcoat systems. Parts are sanded, primed, sealed, then painted with multiple coats and finished with UV-resistant clearcoat for long-lasting durability.
