Cracks, Bends, Gouges & Curb Rash — Repaired and Refinished

Most damaged wheels can be saved. Curb rash and gouges are repaired in-house, cracks are welded, and bent wheels are straightened with our wheel-straightening partner — you drop off with us and pick up from us. Want it looking new again? Add a full refinish: the wheel is stripped in our strip tank to bare metal and powder coated whole — a baked-on finish, not a sprayed touch-up that fails in a year.

  • Crack repair — from $250 per crack, welded, ground smooth, and sealed with paint (welds are usually inside the wheel)
  • Bend repair — from $200 per bend, straightened by our wheel-straightening partner
  • Gouge welding — $50 per gouge, filled and leveled before coating
  • Curb rash, scrapes, and chips — repaired, smoothed, and refinished
  • Peeling clear coat and corrosion — stripped to bare metal and sealed under powder
  • Full-set powder coating — curb rash repair included on every wheel
  • Lifetime warranty against failure to adhere on powder coating (details)

One Bad Wheel? Ask About the Set.

Cracks, bends, and curb rash repaired on a single wheel — or curb rash repair included when we powder coat all four, matched finish, same day on stock single-coat colors with vehicle drop-off. Call with photos and we’ll tell you what makes sense.

Fix One Wheel, or Refinish the Set

Callers tell us a single replacement wheel from the dealer runs $600 to $4,000. A cracked, bent, or curb-rashed wheel that’s otherwise sound doesn’t need that. Here’s what a repair looks like:

Crack Repair

$250 / per crack
  • Crack welded, ground, and smoothed
  • Weld sealed with paint (usually inside the wheel)
  • 3–5 business day turnaround
  • Send photos of the crack for a firm quote

Bend Repair

$200 / per bend
  • Bent lip or barrel straightened
  • Powder coat refinish available as an add-on
  • 2–4 business day turnaround
  • Restores shape and balance

Curb Rash & Gouges

$50 / per gouge weld
  • Curb rash and scrapes smoothed and refinished
  • Deep gouges welded, then leveled — $50 per gouge
  • Close color match to your other three wheels
  • Loose wheels typically 1–2 business days
  • Send photos for a quote — call or text (720) 328-5439

Wheel Repair FAQ

Curb rash, scrapes, gouges, chips, peeling or flaking clear coat, corrosion, cracks, and bends. Cracks are welded, bends are straightened, deep gouges are welded and leveled. A full powder coat refinish is available with any repair. Send photos and we’ll tell you what it needs.

Yes. Rim, wheel, alloy — same part, same repair. Curb rash on the lip, a bent rim barrel, a cracked spoke: we repair the damage, and with an added powder coat refinish the fix disappears instead of showing as a touch-up.

Repairs start at $200 per wheel. Gouge welding from $50 per gouge, crack repair from $250 per crack, bend repair from $200 per bend. A full powder coat refinish is quoted separately — see our wheel powder coating pricing. Curb rash repair is included at no charge when we powder coat the full set. Send photos for an exact number.

Yes. Crack repair starts at $250 per crack and bend repair at $200 per bend. Straightening is arranged through us; you drop off with us and pick up from us. One thing we’re up front about: straightening uses heat and specialized tools, so in some cases the existing finish near the repair can be affected — if that’s a risk on your wheel, we’ll flag it before any work starts and walk you through refinish options. If a wheel is cracked through a spoke or too far gone to be safe, we’ll tell you straight instead of repairing it.

Customers who call us have usually priced a replacement first — $600 to $4,000 for one wheel from the dealer is what we hear most. A crack, a bend, or curb rash on an otherwise good wheel repairs for a fraction of that. Call or text photos and we’ll give you a straight answer on whether it’s worth fixing.

You can do one. Most people end up doing the set: curb rash repair is included when we powder coat all four, the finish matches exactly because every wheel is coated together, and vehicle drop-offs are same day on stock single-coat colors — in at 9 AM, out by 5 PM with tires remounted and balanced. Ask us to quote both.

Close, not identical. We refinish the whole wheel (not just the damaged spot) in the nearest stock or Prismatic color, so it reads as a match from normal distance. If an exact match matters, coating all four together is the only way to guarantee it.

We don’t do spot touch-ups. Sprayed touch-up paint on wheels typically fails within six months to a year — we redo a lot of them. We strip the wheel in our strip tank and refinish it in powder so the repair lasts.

Crack and bend repairs typically take 3–5 business days. Curb-rash-only loose wheels are usually ready in 1–2 business days depending on the queue. Full sets on vehicle drop-off are same day on stock single-coat colors. Special-order colors add 3–5 business days.

Powder coat, oven-cured — the same process as our full wheel sets. Powder coating carries a lifetime warranty against failure to adhere. New curb or impact damage after the job isn’t covered. Full terms on our warranty page.
