Top 5 Wheel Customization Options in Denver
Short answer
- Biggest change: powder coat the wheels a new color — same-day on stock colors.
- Cheapest change: calipers in a contrasting color, done while the wheels are off.
- Chrome delete, wheel repair, and two-tone finishes round out the list. We do all five at one shop.
“Custom wheels” doesn’t have to mean buying wheels. These are the five things we do to factory and aftermarket wheels at our Centennial shop, in the order most people do them, with photos of real jobs.
1. Powder coat the wheels
The biggest visual change for the money. Your wheels are stripped to bare metal, coated in any of 7,000+ colors, oven cured, and remounted — same-day on our stock colors, with a lifetime adhesion warranty. Wheel powder coating starts at $800 for a loose set or $1,000 on the car; see what it costs and browse colors on real jobs.

2. Calipers
Red, yellow, or a color matched to the wheels. The calipers are coated while the wheels are off, so it’s the natural add-on to a wheel job and the cheapest way to change the car’s stance. Brake caliper powder coating has pricing and colors.

3. Chrome delete
If the chrome trim around the car fights your new wheels, it comes off too: grilles, badges, and mirror caps painted, window trim and roof rails wrapped. Priced per piece — see chrome delete. Chrome wheels are a different job: read can you powder coat chrome wheels.
4. Wheel repair
Curb rash, bends, cracks, gouges. Repair first, then coat, and the wheel matches the other three. Curb rash is free on full sets; bends from $200, cracks from $250, gouge welding $50 per gouge on the wheel repair page.

5. Two-tone and custom finishes
Gloss black barrels with satin spokes, bronze centers with black beadlock rings, a machined face with a dark inner. Same process, two colors, and the combinations are on the colors page.

Frequently asked questions
Can you do wheels and calipers in one visit?
Yes. Wheels are same-day on stock colors; calipers are done while the wheels are off. Ask for both when you book.
Can you repair a wheel and then powder coat it?
Yes — that’s the normal order. Bends from $200, cracks from $250, gouge welding $50 per gouge, then the wheel is coated with the rest of the set. See wheel repair.
Do you do chrome delete on the same car as the wheels?
Yes. Wheels are powder coated; grilles, badges, and mirror caps are painted; window trim is wrapped. Details on chrome delete.
What’s the cheapest upgrade with the biggest effect?
Calipers. A red or yellow caliper behind a dark wheel changes the stance of the car for the least money. Wheels in a new color is the biggest change overall.
